Katherine Weiss is a Principal and Branch Manager of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office with Dynamic Engineering Consultants and has extensive experience in civil engineering design and management of commercial, residential, mixed-use, institutional, and industrial land development projects throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her clients include private developers, major retailers, healthcare institutions, religious institutions, higher education, and K-12 education clients.

As an advocate for her clients, Ms. Weiss has a proven ability to successfully manage complex multi-discipline projects with expedited schedules from early planning stages through construction documentation, permit acquisition, and construction. Her expertise includes due diligence and feasibility studies, concept plan development, site layout, grading and drainage design, utility design, stormwater management design, soil erosion and sediment control measures, earthwork analysis, floodplain management, preparation of construction cost estimates, LEED documentation for sustainable sites, regulatory permitting, and construction administration. Drawing from over 15 years of experience, she provides guidance and works with the design team to develop holistic strategic solutions for each project based on its site specific constraints and the client’s priorities and goals.

Ms. Weiss is a Member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of NAIOP and actively engaged with the American Society of Civil Engineers, International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute Philadelphia, and CREW Greater Philadelphia. Katherine volunteers as a mentor for the ACE Mentor Program of Greater Philadelphia and Philadelphia Future City Competition and serves on various committees for Friends Childcare Center in Philadelphia.

Ms. Weiss holds a license in Professional Engineering in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Environmental Engineering degree with a Minor in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware.
